Our activities are carried out by highly qualified members of the Unit (academic staff, researchers, and PhD candidates), producing a significant body of scientific work in the form of publications, participation in scientific conferences, research reports, educational books, and software.

The main areas of Unit's research activities include water resource management, the analysis and specification of requirements for the implementation of environmental policies, and the analysis of energy systems.

The Research Unit has coordinated and participated in a large number of research projects and educational activities in collaboration with institutions from European and Mediterranean countries.
