Environmental and Energy Management Research Unit (EEMRU)
The Environmental and Energy Management Research Unit (EEMRU) operates at both educational and research levels within the School of Chemical Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA).
As an independent research unit, it participates in research and innovation projects, focusing on environmental issues related to energy use and the management of environmental resources.
The unit has coordinated and participated in a large number of research projects and educational activities in collaboration with institutions from European and Mediterranean countries.

The EEMRU is easily accessible both by public transportation and by car.
- By public transportation:
- Katechaki Metro Station (Blue Metro Line M3) and bus line:
- 242 (2nd stop after entering the NTUA Campus)
- 140 (stop near the Kokkinopoulou gate, at the intersection of Katehaki and Kokkinopoulou streets, with approximately a 10-minute walk to the Chemical Engineering building)
- Panepistimio Metro Station (Red Metro Line M2) and bus line 608 (Zografou gate, at 9 Iroon Polytechniou street, near the Lambadarios building, with a 10-minute walk to the Chemical Engineering building).
- By car or taxi:
There are 3 entry gates to the NTUA Campus, but the most convenient one to reach our building is the one on Katehaki Street. After passing through the gate, head left and follow the signs to the Chemical Engineering building.
